Greetings,
The Atlantic Council is recruiting for the 2017 Millennium Fellowship. We seek rising leaders with an entrepreneurial spirit, bold vision for the future, character to lead and inspire, and passion for shaping the world. Fellows may come from a range of backgrounds including but not limited to: government, civil society, business, the arts, journalism, politics, and the military. The application deadline is Sunday, March 12, 2017.
This two-year program brings together rising leaders thirty-five years old and under from around the world who share the Council's mission for building a more prosperous, global, and secure future. Through the program, fellows will:
- Join a global network of exceptional peers,
- Meet with world leaders and senior experts at high-profile international events,
- Go behind the headlines to discover issues at the cutting-edge of global trends, and
- Lead the debate through opportunities to speak, publish, and collaborate.
Each year, the fellowship explores major trends shaping our international system in key issue areas, including global business, energy and climate change, and national security. Fellows explore and shape the debate through expenses-paid participation in private study tours and high-profile conferences around the world. In 2017, Millennium Fellows will travel to Washington, DC for a flagship next generation conference on climate change and the global energy transition, along with a leadership retreat and master class sessions with senior leaders. Past programs have met with heads of state, best-selling authors, senior military leaders, top entrepreneurs, and prominent democracy and rights activists among many others.
Fellows will also select a second trip in 2017-2018 from a range of flagship Atlantic Council programs around the world (such as recent events in New York, Wroclaw, Abu Dhabi, and Istanbul). The 2017-2018 conferences will be announced later this year.

I sure do! One nephew specifically! We have a congressional letter for the Naval Academy but his hip did not want to cooperate. He is currently at the University of Virginia & even there his hip did not want to cooperate for Naval ROTC. Thank you!!
