Great story. I understand that Kimo Williams, who plays with the Lt Dan Band, had played with Steppenwolf at one point. He told me about being in Viet Nam and playing guitar after coming back inside the wire after his missions. The rear echelon wanted him to come play in the rear where they would stay safe. He was quite a gentleman when I met him.

No, I didn't know the story of Jason Everman, BUT I'm grateful to know his story now. It would have been great for him, had he made it big in music, BUT I really think his destiny was to be a soldier, that was really his place, and to take that experience and go into philosophy is great. I get the feeling from the story, that his spirit really needed to be in "beast mode" in the Army. He'll forever now be my "Brother."
