Those were the day. Cold enough to freeze everything off. I remember one day in OP in Grafe while waiting on my relief a family of boar hogs walked by. I was so scared I didn't know what to do. I stood in the trees n prayed they didn't see me. After the mother and babies went by I stood in the tree line for a few minutes more the the father walked by with a limp. They had hit him with a pan off the MKT. Those were the good old days.

Yep my best assignment, 6 years at Ramstein. An hour from France, 4 from Amsterdam, 5 from Prague. You cant beat that

Ahhhhhh the good old days! I was stationed in Vilseck from June 85' til December 88'. If it weren't for my first ex-wife I'd still be there!!!

I was stationed in Grafenwohr. Did several field trips to Hohenfels but working in Grafenwoehr I had a different experience than the ones visiting.

Prefer to forget those places.......
