My first new car was a dark blue 1970 Volvo station wagon purchased in San Diego. Being a first-time dad had me thinking safety and the carrying capacity came in handy while I was attached to SEAL Team One. By coincidence the CO had purchased the identical color and model. Unfortunately, this was the first year of the squared off body design and it had numerous problems. The car spent more time at the dealership than it did in our hands. Three months later I persuaded the dealer to tale it back and got a used 1965 MGB convertible instead, one week before leaving for ET 'B" school at Treasure Island.

1965 MGB convertible...I remember it well but I didn't like riding in one because I am 6' 2'' and they were just too small for me..

Funny you asked. I was telling my wife tonight I would love to have a new 2 Camaro SS, with the 8 speed auto trans, the 475 HP motor, all black with red leather interior, and a duel red stripe on the hood and rear end. The only problem is they are $48,000.

SGT (Join to see) - I had two choices last week on President's day (1) Trade my 2010 Corvette for this 2016 or (2) Lease an Equinox 2Lt 4 Cylinder with AWD . I went with (2) because Corvettes don't handle too well on the ice and snow here in the Boston area and I am not comfortable driving with one of my grand kids in the front seat because I have spun out a few times on the ice. I am saving on gas and insurance but Man I miss driving a Corvette that I have owned since 1962 ..I had six Corvettes over the last 54 years with 6 tickets and just one accident during that time period..
