Absolutely. It could give commanders remote access to visual battlefield information that is always slaved to the units on the ground. Need to see what's up with 3rd Platoon, C co? *click* It's like Command & Conquer in real life! (with theoretically much smarter units...)

It would change operations while deployed. When a TIC comes over the net the COC can use this to pull up a view of their battlefield situation to better get them the resources they need for the fight.
