You know that's an excellent question. I would think it could predict your health by utilizing an complex algorithm. But to predict your death? I would think not.

Skynet. It predicts your death, then puts a bullet through your skull.

I am reminded of the old saying...
"artificial intelligence is only a decade away, and has been so since 1964"

My father has been working with computers since before I was born. He had a sign on his desk that read simply "To err is human. To really foul things up requires a computer." He passed that on to me when I started working in the IT field. The sign is so true it is scary.

PO3 Steven Sherrill I am reminded (again) in 1965 there was the prediction that if computers were just a little more powerful the Weather Service would be able to generate 30 day forecasts with 100% accuracy!
