Do you think Speaker Paul Ryan was unwise not to crack down on members who broke House rules, or did he handle it well?

House Democrats camped out on the floor yesterday to push gun control legislation, creating a bit of bedlam around a scheduled vote Wednesday night. Do you think Speaker Paul Ryan was unwise not to crack down on members who broke House rules, or did he handle it well, given the potential for bad publicity? A Sit-In - Really!??!

As Napoleon Bonaparte wisely counseled, “Never interrupt your enemy when he is making a mistake.”

Exactly!! Could not have said it any better! As a side note, do you really expect Ryan, or any other Congressman/woman to follow any rule of law?? They haven't yet, why start now. BUT, you or I stage a "sit in" on any Government property and see what happens. Let me know how it works out for you.

Why would he? It was a peaceful protest, and it's not like they had anything more pressing to do in either party, so sitting on your ass, is normally how things are done. Ryan can't get mad at them being the GOP is just as bad sitting on their collective asses and doing nothing. I really need a job like theirs. Spend four hours talking smack and taking pics, the other four hours calling everyone and their mother asking for donations. A $174k salary seems about right.

CSM Charles Hayden - CSM, that wasn't meant as disrespect to any Sergeant Major but in this case, those CW5's are going to be the ones who save your and my behind. Two CSM's with a OPORD that stipulates "F*sk sh*t Up" and "straighten sh*t up". What could possibly go wrong, and they're BOTH in the Capitol? This would be you're usual day fixing congress

its just more waste of tax payers money, instead of really solving the issue which is people not guns, better veting, criminal back ground checks, on a watch list, can go on and on, the govt gets paid very well so lets start making them earn thier money, create laws that punish the perps not the vics, you do a crime with any weapon you're doing 20 yrs before you serve the sentance, i live ny just had a case in roc, fellon 4 times on parole, arrested for 2 crimes, previous to his murder/assault conviction, should have been thrown in jail after the first, violation of probation, the person he killed might still be alive but the system failled, so again dont blame the gun, blame the system and the person

Both parties are pretty useless, but I can`t help wondering why 113 Republican bills set on Harry Reid`s desk. That`s not exactly doing nothing.
