I thought time amoungst civilians would tame but instead it has made me want to fight more to protect the freedoms we hold dear.

Now I have heard people say allot of things to exaggerate how they felt about a fight. One favorite has been a saying "to drink from the skulls of our enemies". So I got curious and found it was indeed a thing. In fact there are Buddhist artifacts called Kapalas.

Sounds a little extreme for our western culture nowadays tho not out of the questions for our enemies like ISIS/Daesh. As others here have said I would rather send a Hellfire up their ass or nuke them to radioactive dust

since I retired, i'm not ready to kill the world nor drink from their skulls, but because of my training I do feel that if needed I can and will defend myself and my family, I don't look for fights, I choose to solve things logically and peacefully, there are too many idiots out there that want to be tough guys but too chickenshit to join and actually risk their lives, so the better part of valor walk away they are not worth it

In drinking from some ones skull, no, I'm not into cannibalism, taking out an enemy, yes.
