I don't have a Beagle myself but there are a few at the dog park I take my Chocolate Lab to. I love how active and vocal they are, as well as having no fear. A few of the larger dogs will try to mess with them and the Beagle(s) will let them know in no uncertain terms that they are not to be messed with!

They are so sweet! I never had a Beagle until I got out of the Navy and I got my Mabel girl. She is so much fun! I took her down to NC to see my nephew at LeJeune and she was happy the whole trip! 10 hours!

Labs are great dogs too we had those when I was a kid . ours always liked to wrestle on the floor but they were gentle

My Lab is anything BUT gentle! When he and I wrestle he will go at it pretty hard!
