Does anyone have a sample memorandum for justification to go back to IRR?

So im trying to go back into IRR, because reserves is not for me and is too far of a drive and for employment reasons. I just need a sample of a paragraph so my justification sounds professional and helps my chances of switching as soon as possible
(EDIT)
I was able to tranfer back to IRR,it took a good while, about 5 or 6 months. Big army initially did not accept the disability or the distance justification, but did accept the employment justification. Thanks to everyone who helped.

Employment reasons are tough to justify for IRR transfer. Employers are obligated by Federal Law to give you the time you need to perform duties for the military. Your employer would have to provide a memo stating why they cannot accommodate you and most will not do that. As far as commuting distance if you are over 50 miles away from your unit then you can submit a request for outside a reasonable commuting distance IAW AR 140-10 para 1-10.

Hey do you think you can help me out with my justification memo? Can I see yours, as a reference?

How did you start the process? Can you transfer even without completing your term services?

what was written for your employment justification memo that it was accepted?

I transfered back to IRR. It took them awhile honestly. They denied the travel distance and disability justification, but accepted the employment justification. It took awhile, approx. 5 months but luckily my commander was very helpful.

how was the employment justification accepted? Did your employer provide you a memo that they would not give you the time you need to perform duties for the military?

If you have met your initial military obligation, then you don't need a justification to go back to the IRR. Nor can your commander block your request. Personally, I think the paragraph you wrote here is all the justification you need. Put that on the 4187 requesting transfer to the IRR.

Not true. If he is currently assigned to a TPU unit his commander has to approve an IRR request. Most initial contracts are 6x2 with 2 years either reserve or IRR. If a Soldier elects the Reserve route then wants to go IRR later then he needs to submit the request and a good enough reason.

CSM (Join to see) - If he is past his initial 6 years, then he is into his IRR time. At that point, the soldier can elect to go IRR or stay TPU. If, at any time, he changes his mind and wants to go IRR, all he needs to do is request it. Yes, his commander has to approve the request, but the commander has to have a more compelling reason to keep him than the soldier needs to leave.
I have seen commanders pussy foot around until the soldier's end of contract date, just to keep his numbers up. But that is just bad leadership and ensures that the soldier will never come back.

SGT Edward Wilcox - That's true but once he is on an actual unit roster its at that commanders discretion to release him. And like you said if the numbers are down that commander does not have to let the SM go until he finds a replacement.
