YOU need to check with the leasing company before doing any thing.
Most leasing company's do not allow people to take the car's over sea's
There are all kinds of problems with REPO'S for one.
Then if the car is stolen that is anther one.
Then if your car is damaged in a wreck.
You also need to check with your insurance company.
Most will not cover you, Unless you have a rider on your policy.

I just completed a PCS to Hawaii and I was able to terminate my lease early due to the overseas PCS and the Somdiers and Sailor Relief Act. If it’s a lease, and not simply financed, I would suggest terminating the lease and getting something there for the interim. Shipping cars is a giant pain and there can be damage associated with it. Leases aren’t very forgiving on that kind of stuff.

I have sent a leased vehicle overseas. You must speak to the specific dealer you leased from and they should know what you’re talking about. They’ll have you get in touch with the finance company, typically the dealer affiliated bank. For example mine was a BMW, spoke to BWM finance and they took care of it. You will also have to speak to your insurance company about what sort of additional coverage you’ll need during the journey. I put mine on a surface vessel and it was bumped up a little bit but not too bad. Then you’ll obviously need to switch to the coverage required for while in Korea.
