My XO and I have taken upon ourselves to develop a unit SOP for convoys. Does anyone have a unit SOP I can reference and use as a guide?
I have a few manuals and convoy check lists but I wanted to see if someone out there has a good SOP established as a frame of reference. Thanks!

I have our TACSOP from when I ran convoy security in Iraq. Its focused on the combat portion of the mission, not the logistics though. If it would be useful to you, I'd be happy to pass it along.

What type of vehicles and equipment are you moving? Are there security considerations or is this more for a "movement down I-10 to Huachuca" type of convoy?

Sorry I should have been more detailed. This SOP is mainly for non tactical convoys moving the company "along the I-10 to Huachuca" we have HMMWVs, LMTVs, wreckers, trailers, etc. Basic maintenance company type vics

Why not complete the desired SOP yourself without other's input and possibly set the Gold standard? IMHO, you know what you are looking for, and reviewing previous SOP's may only serve to limit your focus and/or contaminate your own product.
PS: You know your product's going to get pen-f***ed as soon as you start running it up the chain, so, in the end, will it really be yours? Just sayin......................................
