Does anyone know of any good Job Searching websites, search engines, and even Networking sites for separating and/or separated military?

I have search on many different sites, and for the most part I find jobs that are generic postings that are old, scams, or minimal wage at best. The jobs that I feel I am qualified to do I am unable to do for all kinds of reasons. As anyone found any sites to be reliable and rewarding.

Funny you mentioned that, my Father-in-law is in the SMART union, he does HVAC. He looked into work there and they said i am hired if i move back to the east coast. So now my wife and I are planning on that move.

I use the Indeed Jobs app. It seems pretty helpful in my job search although it's not geared towards vets. USAJOBS.com is also good. Good luck Brother!

Linkedin is a good for branching out. I also used glass-door to find out more about the companies I applying for, or more specifically, deciding which companies I didn't want to apply for(If all the negative comments for a given position and location are the same or similar, they're probably true).

Whatever state you live in should have something similar to what Iowa has: a Workforce Commission. So, for example, in Iowa I would go to http://www.iwf.gov on the Internet. Supposedly, they have database of ever job registered through each IWF county office. Second to that is a special section just for veterans seeking employment, and employers seeking them. Thirdly, I've been told that the veteran counsellors have something like a real estate MLS cache of jobs around the nation. I got this info from a Brother Mason in my Lodge who once worked in the IWF. At the time, we were trying to find some job suggestions for a young soldier home from Iraq.

This portal provides you the opportunity to create and publish a public profile that highlights your skills and employment career goals. It provides tools and links to assist you with resume building and skills translation. See, that is a good question. I honestly am still figuring that out. I am not ready to go to school, I want work, hands on type of job. The suffering part is that my job in the Air Force had a purpose and meaning, I was responsible for my Aircraft and that pilot put his/her life in my hands. It's really hard to match that in the private sector. However my Father-in-law has been doing HVAC for over 20 years and has offered me a spot at the company he works. I might start looking into a trade top job.

I'll say this from personal experience and it might be tough to swallow: you may never find a job as personally fulfilling as what you did in the military. Not saying it won't happen but be prepared. I can offer a couple of pieces of advise as it relates to RallyPoint:
1) Start by looking up your AFSC (just click on it from your profile page). This will bring up everyone that's had that job on RallyPoint and will show you what their doing now. It will give you some clues as to how they are paying their bills post military. If you want to go one step further, click the "Ask the Group" button and just ask them, "I'm getting out and looking for a job but I don't know what I want to do yet. What careers are you pursuing, it is rewarding and what advise do you have." Who knows, maybe someone can assist you directly. I started a similar discussion for transitioning infantrymen and the response was pretty outstanding.
2) Use the advanced search tool and start by looking up other veterans in your area. You can do the same thing and see who's out there locally who can help or offer some advise. Maybe someone has a good lead for you locally.
There's some other things you can do but this is where I'd start.

What are some fields and occupations where others have been successful? Is there anything that an 11B has been particular good at once they get into the civilian sector?Or maybe even particular companies that really "get" what an 11B has gone though and taken the appropriate time and training to make them successful?Any guidance or thoughts about Infantryman transitioning back into the workforce is welcomed.

I have actually had that had that happen with clearancejobs.com. Got a call to do mail as a subcontractor in the VA, however the pay was very low.
