Are you a 135 or KC-10 guy? From what I've seen, ANG units have been on hiring sprees because they're carrying a much larger deployment tasking load than they used to. Most ANG units have a handful crusty old booms that'd rather hire a bunch of young guys than go themselves, so that could be your way in.

Reserves are very slowly, continuously hiring. Where I am picks up a few each year. KC-10.
