Hello all. In the 1980s and 90s there was a DA PAM that covered ceremonies like Promotions, Retirements, and it had formation layouts and sequence of events lists, things like that.
The proponent was DA PERSCOM as it was an AG publication.
NOTE: I'm not referring to FM 22-5.
This was definitely a DA PAM published by the personnel folks.
I used to have a copy and now I can't seem to find one anywhere and I've forgotten what number it was.
Does anyone know what I'm talking about?
Again, I'm not referring to 22-5, I know what that is. :-D
Thanks!

You might refer to DA Pam 600-60. Latest version attached:

Let me know if that's close to what you are looking.

Parade field NTC, 1975 era. The commander was conducting a rehearsal for a BN Formation. Staff Officers and company reps were there for the dry run. After my twice telling LTC DxXxxx that he was doing something wrong, In exasperation, I said, “ Colonel, 22-5 says —— —— “. His response was, “why didn’t you tell me you were quoting from 22-5”!

The worst part is that others, regardless of you proof them wrong, will continue Messi g things up.
