Does anyone knows of a location in DC or Baltimore, MD that has a high rate of homeless Veterans?

My family and I are planning to hand out care packages to homeless Veterans on Christmas Eve. I have tried contacting the VA in Baltimore, no response and the operator who answered the phone wasn't too friendly. Any help with contacts or locations would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you in advance!

if you pull up the Five Finger Death Punch video "Wrong side of Heaven" there is a list of foundations in the end credits that you can research to get your answers.

Not a problem, I like to see those type of requests. You can also hit up your local VFW, American Legion, and probably some of the veteran motorcycle clubs as well for information.

This is a very good gesture on you and your family's part. I would say to try contacting the Salvation Army or the following outreach centers:

Good luck and Merry Christmas.

Thank you Sir. I know what it's like to struggle. It's the least I can do for my brothers and sisters who have served before me.

I did get a nice donation from one of my former neighbors today! I was pretty excited about it. I have had a few more people ask how they can help.
I was unaware that VA hospitals house homeless Vets in the winter. Knowledge is power.

It's a good way of finding those who didn't want to come though, they'll typically know where to find the others . I get so angry when I read statistics from the town I'm going to. "Our homeless vet rate is zero", bull crap.

Not sure since I'm not in the area, but please hit of the Baltimore "The Mission Continues" service platoon, they might be able to help you out in some way.

Well, I live on the west side, so can't directly contribute (much less areas of where there might be homeless Vets). There is a tent city here in LV that I haven't been to yet.... It's awesome that you have allotted time for something like this.
I would have to echo a concern from one of the senior leaders, be careful in the area that you operate, never know who encounter you will.....

I will be careful. Thank you SGT. I am still furthering my research. I will not put my children or myself in danger.

I see by your profile that you're stationed at Fort Indiantown Gap. Having been stationed at the Gap for a long time myself might I suggest Lebanon, Lancaster or Harrisburg. Harrisburg especially has a large population of homeless vets and the VA at Camp Hill won't drop your calls, they will be very friendly.
