I'm speechless! People of faith will always find a place to worship. Underestimating the strength of worshipping can only make it stronger. IMHO

I could see that we wanted churches to be able to provide for the community. Now, churches are SO big, there is really nothing that is descrribing them as lacking....

SPC George Rudenko, Our church almost went down the tubes over the past five years. We finally got a preacher in there that has good business sense. We're not completely out of the woods, but getting close. Our church isn't huge,but it has about a 1000 members. Only about half of them attend regularly. The old members who had money and supported the church financially have passed away several years ago. Churches like Osteens are money makers. I couldn't afford to go to his church.

No more tax breaks for churches. None. Nada. Ive seen written that theres some 345000 congregations in the USA alone. Like Saddle Back, FoF ministries and scientology ARENT businesses.
