Retirement pay is based on active duty base pay. I've been retired longer than I served. If your short- term finances can take the change, then go for the long-term benefit of greater base pay.

Yes it does. Look at promotions from here and what you think retirement will be at the rank you think you'll make. If you enjoy being enlisted then don't go warrant.

I guess the question would be? Would you love what job you'd want to do as a warrant? If you love being enlisted and doing what you do now, then stay enlisted. If you want a scenery change then go for it. Just look at promotions and how you'll progress over the years.
