You get paid by the UTA (or Unit training assembly). There are 2 UTA's in a day - 4 in a weekend & 6 in a 3 day weekend.

Yes. You get paid the equivalent of one day's Active Duty pay for each UTA/drill. Multiply the number of drills/UTAs by the daily pay.

Each UTA SHOULD be a minimum of 4 and a maximum of 12 hours. You cannot have more than two drill periods in one calendar day.

Not when I served according to our CO , the entire weekend was considered a drill but we were normally dismissed after an 8-10 hour day. This was Texas ARNG 1970-76. I know I'm old.

Does more than 4 drills in a weekend equal more pay? If so, is it proportional?

Depending on your rank, you get paid for four days and only worked two days

No, it doesn't equal more pay. It is proportional.

I remember doing 5 which had me going aboard ship Friday afternoon. We could work on our advancement stuff and prepare to get underway first thing Saturday. So we were allowed 60 drills/year.

The most I ever did in one weekend, Sgt (Join to see), was a MUTA-5, and we were paid accordingly.

One weekend could be a MUTA 7, 8, 9, 10. Any number.
You ARE paid accordingly. More time in uniform is more pay.
There are only so many MUTA's for a calendar year.
Usually a weekend that is longer than just Sat and Sun is for weapons qual, range qualifications, or some other special task that can only be done at certain times or dates.
If one month has a ling MUTA, then another month has a shorter MUTA, or no drill at all.

SSG Zientek is correct, you only get funded to complete a certain number of MUTA periods. When planning out the annual calendars some units will take a weekend or a day from one month and add it to another. I've seen this happen so that December was open so Soldiers could spend it with family, as well a month during summer be free so they could participate in summer vacations. You will paid for each four hour period you perform.
