Thus far, there is no "transgender ban".
When (if) there is, I will have more to say on the subject.
Until then, I support current Army policy for transgender Soldiers to serve openly and proudly.
It is my duty and high honor to take care of and train every Soldier the Army gives me the privilege to lead.

Not sure what idea you are trying to support here.
Individuals who undergo surgery, hormone treatment, or simply dress in what would be considered clothing appropriate for the opposite sex did so willingly, save the handful of young children that have their parents do so when the child is not of an age to make informed consent. It is also legal in every state in the union to undergo sex reassignment treatments.
Where is the illegal human experimentation?

Transgender as not nearly accepted a term as you think it is!
Lumping everything for cross dressing through transsexual and beyond into not identifying as any gender into a single term and attaching it to the gay community is not illegal experimentation please explain?
The only reason it is not seen as the illegal human experimenting that it is, is ignorance.

I think that the current round of political attacks on the trans community are the death rattles of a broken culture, hell bent to hang on to their ways in the face of anyone who is different from them. You cannot, and will not force lgbt people back into the closet or legislate us out of existence. We are serving proudly and honorably now. We will continue to serve this country and we will continue to fight for the right to exist equally with all of you.

I didn't say low sperm count cause transsexualism or homosexuality but implied it may be related.
If a chemical can lower sperm count by more than half in adult males what do you think its doing to the brains of the not yet born and kids?

Not hardly there is plenty of academic literature to support me on the negative effects of endocrine disruptures on psychosexual development and linking them to cancer.

SGT Joseph Gunderson - Revisiting this conversation after some time dormant, I can now see what is up. Old girl(?) is suggesting that some kind of nefarious powers are at work to put chemicals in food or products to cause an outbreak of gender identification issues. As evidence, Lisa cites lowered sperm counts, but not where that assertion came from. So basically, the undercurrent of a conversation we all think is about Army policy is actually an attempt to try to "inform" us of this threat, and call us all to arms against it. We are all ignorant, not of whether we are enlightened about trans folks serving, but of the government emasculating us.
It is a bizarre position for a trans individual to take, especially one that purports to be smarter than the rest of us. She is basically making the case that there are mental disorders underpinning transgenderism, not some kind of physical one.
