Doing some research here. Can anyone tell me when Trump made these anti-Muslim remarks during the campaign?

There are citizens of the United States born under other flags who have poured the poison of disloyalty into the very arteries of our national life. Such creatures of passion, disloyalty and anarchy must be crushed out. They are infinitely malignant and the hand of our power should close over them at once.

Google pulls up a Washington Post article that credits Woodrow Wilson with that quote. But you already knew that, didn't you?

Yep. Just curious as to the replies. I knew a group as knowledgeable as RP would figure it out quickly. Wilson was a noted orator, so it doesn't lend itself to 21st Century tweets, does it?Still, it does show that there there isn't much new under the sun.

Here's how that would have sounded if it came from Trump: There are bad people born in our country, really bad people, who are really from other countries, bad countries.....really bad countries. These bad people have to be taken out. They are bad, and we are good.....and so we must use our power to end them! They are not real Americans. America first!

Entertaining; I've never seen President Trump that articulate. The quotes are from President Wilson in 1915, and refer the the German spy and sabotage rings discovered earlier that year.
I haven't heard of any Muslims sabotaging or attempting to sabotage US munitions plants and shipments recently, but I'm sure there's relevance.
