Whenever I try to do SSD from my laptop at home it always goes to the section I left off, but when I hit the "next" button it won't let me and I get a message that says "the program is not responding". Has this or does this happen to anyone else? If so is there a solution for it?

I had that problem. I had to install all the certificates that you need to log on to AKO, then change SSL and TSL settings in the Internet Options. I think I had to use IE as well

I had a similar issue back when I was doing SSD-III. I called the help desk, they ran me through a bunch of steps and it still didn't work. I just ended up using a different computer.

Have you tried Internet Explorer? A lot of government programs only work on IE (and sometimes only older versions of IE).

No I haven't sir, I was told by personnel in my S-6 that Google Chrome is the best way to go.

SSG (Join to see) - I obviously haven't done SSD, but I do know that virtually all DoD programs are designed for IE, so it's worth a try. DoD troubleshooting also only supports IE, so if you find any troubleshooting information, you can actually follow it.

Does it say, "the program is not responding," or "the webpage is not responding?" I had a bit of trouble with the training window locking, and then not saving my progress, so you're at least not going backwards! My suggestions are to go under "manage addons" and turn off shockwave flash if you have IE and try again. If that doesn't work, enable compatibility mode, or disable it depending on which way you have it now, and try again. Fiddling with those two settings has given me the best success when doing anything with AKO and Enterprise.

I stand corrected it says "Web page not responding". I'll try those things also thanks Sarge.

In that case SSG (Join to see) you could also check to make sure that you have the latest version version of flash.

I had a PFC on deployment fix most of the issues I was having! If you have Microsoft Windows 8 and have not done the 8.1 update do it. Then download Google chrome. Once installed it solved 95 percent of all of my issues. If this is not the case then try going to militarycac.com and see if they have any fixes to help.

I have Google Chrome so I guess I have to do the 8.1 update then. Thanks for your response Sarge, hooah!
