The idea for a debate between Sanders and the GOP nominee arose after Trump told comedian Jimmy Kimmel on Wednesday night that he'd enjoy debating the Vermont senator before the California primary. At this point in the race, Sanders cannot win through the primary process but hopes to close strong so he can contest the nomination with superdelegates at the Democratic convention.

It would add to the list of things never done before in a Presidential race. I say go for it, it shows neither is afraid of the message .

For Sanders it is a win no matter what. It will give him a chance to tell republican viewers how he is going to give everybody free stuff. The only problem with that is it will most likely be a republican paying for it. Still it is free facetime with the American viewer and we all know Sanders LOVES FREE.

For Trump, if he can act presidential, it will be a win for him. Trump has to show people that he is not the devil that the media is making him out to be. Not sure if he can refrain from calling people poopie heads and address real issues long enough to convince me of it. We'll see.

Not sure Hillery will be a winner either way. She is finally getting the airtime she deserves with the exposing of her lying ass for all to see. About time! Now if the FBI will get off their ass and charge her!

Why is there not a 3rd party!!!!!!!!!!!

A debate will only help Sanders at this point, he needs as much exposure as possible.

Because the media doesn't focus on him as much as Hilary and Trump.. Ron Paul for instance barely got screen time and didn't get questions directed at him for most of the debates...
