This video was sent to us by a lady out of the Reno, Nevada area. This guy was walking around pretending he was a Marine. When asked for his name he responded that, "He was on High Alert, and couldn't give that out."
He then said he was a member of the 3rd Battalion, 26th Marines, which have been deactivated sine 1970. The Marines do have a 26th MEU(Marine Expeditionary Unit), but it doesn't have a 3rd Battalion.
He was trying to get a discount on or a free venue for his wedding using the claims.

What ?? Legit how ?? he said he was a Marine and he was off base in a combat uniform, Marines are never aloud to be off base in this uniform no exceptions ever!!! now the army is aloud..but not the Marines. wow Legit huh???

Cpl George McKernon Colonel Williams: Did you look at his position of attention? Seriously? What branch did you serve in? Certainly not the USMC! Moustache past the corners of the mouth, chin whiskers, elbows out, fingertips along the trousers seam, etc. Not even counting the uniform. This guy's a joke!

Wearing camouflage uniforms was cute when I was a kid in the early 80's (remember the whole camouflage craze of the 80's?), but it's just plain pathetic when you're a grown man playing war hero.

That poor old man is dain bramaged and being so far out of uniform is almost silly. I am certain he is just seeking attention. I would just be nice because it is apparent his pilot light is not lit.. lol

Dude is obviously not all there and the "videographer" could definitely have handled the situation better.

The guy has some problems. Can't tell his age, but if he is about my age he may well have served with the 26th Marines. And those are the utilities I wore in 1968 in Vietnam. I understand her feelings about stolen Valor. I felt the same way after reading Burkett's book " Stolen Valor" but she was way over the top. And she should have picked up on his problems right away. I really don't know what she was hoping to accomplish.

Totally agree! Plus,these uniforms are readily available at any surplus store. Very popular during hunting season.Would not recommend this crazy gal accosting someone in a deer blind.
