WARNING!: STRONG LANGUAGE!

From: Stolen Valor on YouTube
--
This video was sent to us by a lady out of the Reno, Nevada area. This guy was walking around pretending he was a Marine. When asked for his name he responded that, "He was on High Alert, and couldn't give that out."

He then said he was a member of the 3rd Battalion, 26th Marines, which have been deactivated sine 1970. The Marines do have a 26th MEU(Marine Expeditionary Unit), but it doesn't have a 3rd Battalion.
He was trying to get a discount on or a free venue for his wedding using the claims.

It's not even worth it too confront these assholes anymore as this is not even a serious enough stolen valor offense for a cop to make an arrest. Tell the asshole that he's an asshole and move on, dont argue with them or make threats. To be honest, her loud mouth grated on me more than this guy that obviously has mental problems. I have a POS brother in law who I have nothing to do with who got orders to go to desert storm when his national guard unit got called up and he refused to go and they kicked him out. He tries to brag to me all the time about his time in desert storm and tell me how rough it is knowing full well I have multiple tours in Iraq and Afghanistan but I just ignore him because I know he has mental problems and he's a chickenshit asshole that refused to deploy and berating him ain't gonna make me a better combat veteran so what's the use. These assholes will get there comeuppance some day for being a POS.

I have ineissue and it is this stolen valor has nothing to do with saying you wore the uniform when you didn’t it is when you wear medals that you didn’t earn or pretend to be part of a prestigious u it such as seal team 6 but never was a member . That said it really is pathetic these days when everyone acts all offended . Sorry but they used to say imitation was the biggest form of flattery . As long as he’s not acting a fool I don’t care if he claim to be the former assistant to the commanadant

I don’t think any of this is important. People feel inadequate and try to make up for it. Let me give you an example that you may relate to. You were medically discharged from active duty due to injuries sustained overseas. Your back home with family. You escort your brother to the plane that will be taking him overseas. You stand there watching as he boards the plan. Every thought passes through your mind, and the one that stabs you the hardest is the fact that your not on that plane with him. That feeling is sickening, you feel worthless. Your place is over there, not in this civilian mess.

It’s not even the correct uniform for the day! It’s the camo we had in early 80s when they came out for everyone in Army back then! I don’t think the marines ever had those

Its people like this guy that make me stay in my house all day... Welll part of the reason lol..... Its illegal to assault others..... Kinda nice living in the state of wa....we have a law here called consent to combat....meaning.....if two disagreeing adults....cant agree.......then if they want....they can agree to a mutual fight ...during which police will do nothing... So long as your not trying to literally kill the other person

Lets see, those woodland cammies were used when I was in back in the 80's and have since been replaced. WTF is that patch on the UA field jacket and shave?

I was trying to make out the patch, too. But my eyes aren't as good as they used to be.
