Outstanding story here, raising up through the ranks to General Officer! Hard word, determination and dedication pays off.

From my perspective, as a JOC Director, in my limited contact with him (while he was with PACFLT), ADM Harris has always been very gracious.

Thanks for posting CSM Michael J. Uhlig, I expect that if there any surviving members of the legendary 100th Battalion of Japanese Americans who fought the Germans in Italy so hard they would be proud and thankful.
I hope ADM Harris will be blessed with wisdom, endurance and political acumen as he leads PACOM.

SGT Rick Ash
CSM Michael J. Uhlig - Can you imagine the budget request he and his staff have to write every year? And the quarterly expenditure report? That has to be a huge number....
Thanks,
Rick

I love getting updates on PACOM. I was out there for 4.5 years and used to work for NCPAC which is across the street from PACOM HQ at Camp Smith.
