My husband is thinking about joining the Army as a 12N. He has a lot of questions about this mos. Anyone have any comments?

This will be dependent entirely upon the schedule, the mission, and a few other factors. Could be as little as 3 days, to as long as 60 days. All depends, really.

True; although they usually try to bring people in--if only for a day--before the 30 day mark. To sum it all up: "For as long as Uncle Sam says!"

As a 12N myself. The field we spend normally 2 weeks out. But we try to make it back before then. Manuel labor is when it had to be done. Other then that it's done with the equipment. Like everyone else said it depends on the mission set. What type of unit your with.
