Looking to hire someone for my team. We are a Veteran-Owned Information Technology Staffing/Recruiting firm. We are hiring for 1-2 Technical Recruiter "trainees", ideally someone with a Military Recruiting background (ideal but not required). We are based in the West Chicago suburbs and prefer someone who will live here for the first year or so. Once training/ramp-up/Skillbridge is complete, Dallas, Indianapolis, or Chicago are the options.

Your Role:
Using your skills gained as a Military Recruiter, you will gain hands-on and real-world experience as you explore the career path of becoming an Information Technology Recruiter. Through our personal and professional development training, you will not only learn how to build and maintain relationships within the IT community, but you will also have the opportunity to make an impact on the lives of others by helping place them in contract/employee roles with some the countries best employers.

Target Earnings are:
Year 1-2 | $45,000 - $80,000
Year 3-6 | $80,000 - $110,000
Year 5+ | $110k-$130k+

Locations
We require that you reside in the West Chicago suburbs and work in our HQ initially…during the internship/training. Upon full-time hiring…and once you/we are comfortable with your ability to work independently in a remote capacity…you can live/work almost anywhere. That said, the ideal location(s) for now would be Chicago and/or Dallas as that is where our main book of business is.

Your Opportunity
As an Information Technology Recruiter, you will have the opportunity to partner with experienced Recruiters, Sales Representatives, and Information Technology professionals to help grow your personal book of business. You will see the independent and entrepreneurial spirit that our team exhibits as you indulge in our innovative, supportive, and committed company culture.
• Participate in personal and professional training and development meetings.
• Build your own (daily) schedule to meet/interact with candidates and clients at your convenience.
• Analyze, create, and implement a personalized strategy for your recruitment efforts.
• Pipeline new candidates/recruits from warm and cold leads
• Generate leads through cold calling, referral seeking, and LinkedIn/Resume Database searching
• Building your book of business
What we need from you
• Self-motivated, driven, goal-oriented.
• Sociable, outgoing, enjoys meeting new people…both over the phone and in person.
• Social media and technology savvy (ideally experienced with LinkedIn/Facebook recruiting and use of other tools)
• Someone who builds relationships centered on trust, open communication, and transparency (excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills)
• A commitment to ongoing learning, including staying current on employment trends, IT industry news, recruitment trends/tools, and the impact on their candidates/clients.
• Someone who is proactive and focused on providing excellent customer service.
• Strong academic or work performance
• Active involvement in clubs/organizations/team sports
• Devoted work ethic
• Ability to work both independently, as well as part of a team.
• Previous work experience in a recruiting, sales, or customer-service role: we want people with different backgrounds, work experience, and past successes.
