Free Microsoft MTA Certification exams offered on January 23th

Mark your calendars for a free Microsoft MTA Test fest scheduled for Jan 23th in Jacksonville, FL Keiser University. This test fest is open to the public, just need to register at the below link (EventBrite). I should be one of the proctors for the exam. All the different MTA exams will be available for testing (Server, Networking, SQL Server, Security, and several software development exams as well). The MTA's (Microsoft Technology Associate) is the entry level path to Microsoft certifications.

Are they going to have the tests on time or do I have to wait the entire day for the tests to arrive?

I will check on that with Sid (he coordinates the test fests and IT Pro Camp). The last MTA test fest, we found out a few days before the event that Certiport was going to be down the morning of the test fest for maintenance. It took them longer that they had expected for their maintenance window. Not really sure why they do not do that at night. I believe Sid has a point of contact now for them.

If you are close to the DC area, you may be in luck. Check out this meetup group - http://www.meetup.com/MFCF-DC. They had a MTA test fest back in November. They should be setting a date so for an IT Pro Camp for 2016 soon. I personally know Tim McAliley, who is the organizer for that meetup group. He started the IT Pro Camps in DC after moving to DC from Florida. Florida has several IT Pro Camp locations and started the free MTA test fests several years ago. Hope this will work out for you.
