Fun Time... What was your Call Sign/Nickname?

My nickname was Funky Fresh

I killed a bat in the barracks during reception batallion in basic. I got called Batman for a few weeks. When I got to an actual unit I got called Bunyon(as in Paul Bunyon), Baby Huey, and Lurch because I was a big kid. When I switched over to the Navy I picked up Mooseknuckle and Knuckledragger for a while. The nickname that ended up sticking was Havnav.

mine was/is Peckman ........ponder that for a moment......lots of whiskey, drunk buddys .....some how they got my name is Greg Mason they thought of Gregory Peck and Perry Mason combined it to Peckman

When I deployed to OJE, some of the guys came up with "call signs" for is all. Mine was "HORSESHOE" Guess it was because I am a farrier in civilian life.

I ended up with Cody though my friends got it wrong, they were trying to call me Wild Bill Cody when it was actually Buffalo Bill Cody they were thinking of. I did a lot of crazy things when I was young including choking an associate pastor at church (literally). Thus I was considered "wild"

In 2003, I was a platoon RTO. During a particular situation in Mosul, I was passed up to company RTO, cuz the CO needed another radio. Makes sense. But then, Bat. Commander needed a radio, so I was sent to him. Then to Brigade. Then To division, then all the way back down all in one day. My leadership called me Army6R for the rest of the deployment.

Not mine, but a good friend of mine had two golden ones. First was because of his unfortunate early male pattern baldness that left a lone patch of hair in the front, earning him 'Moses'. Shortly after, he had an unfortunate relation with a female that earned him the callsign 'Val' for Valium. Yeah.
