This is just for some laughs

What was your call sign or nickname while in and how did you get it...

Mine was Wreck It Ralph, due to I actually broke a GSA Safe that ended up needing to be drilled to get it open.

I've "earned" a couple. I was 40 when I went through ADA officer basic in '03, shortly after the movie "Old School" came out. All the other LTs in my class and the instructors called me "Blue". While deployed to Ft. Benning I was entering the DFAC with some of the enlisted guys, a couple of fresh new PVTs were leaving. One of them was so flustered at seeing an officer that he saluted me, forgetting that he was holding an ice cream cone. Smacked himself in the forehead with it. So the guys started calling me LT Dan and when they would see me they would yell out, in best Forrest Gump imitation, "LT Dan, ICE CREAM!!!!!"

I was a NSW MCT communicator deployed with a SEAL Team and my call sign of Mischief was tame compared that of the Team. Just know that "Monkey" was only part of it. I had to call them over a circuit to relay some pretty critical information in CIC with the Battle Group Commander present and he almost choked on his coffee when he heard me go out across comms with both call signs.

When I was a PVT in basic, I was Sorry Ass.

When I was a CPL, my name was Chaos.

When I became an NCO, Swerve.

When I went to Ranger School, I was "cumshot" because I tried to superglue my name tag that was falling off my uniform, and decided to wear my "field" BDUS for the CWST.

So thankful that I retired as Angel.....

In AIT I had a SSG teaching SINGARS class. He went around the room having us introduce ourselves. He got to me, looked me up and down, and said "You just have to be from Iowa you big cornfed son of a bitch" I was 6' 3" and 225lbs and was from Iowa. Cornfed stuck with me for a VERY long time!

Diablo99, bloodknife66 and my name was changed to juanesky, not due to skydiving but due to a polish joke I used to tell when I was 9.  It just suited when I started jumping.

Slippery Chicken 6. I still use it as my Online persona.
How I got it, well... not quite ready to tell that story yet. Not while my company might find out.
