Golden Knights member posthumously promoted to E-8. Reactions?

The member of the Golden Knights who died Sunday from injuries suffered in a midair parachuting accident was posthumously promoted to the rank of master sergeant, the Army said Thursday.
Master Sgt. Corey Hood died from injuries he suffered during the Chicago Air and Water Show. The Golden Knights is the Army’s parachute team.

Hood was on the promotion list for master sergeant at the time of his death, the Army said.
