I was a TPU with my old unit and I am going to my AT with my new current unit. I was trying to log into DTS but it says my profile is "unfounded or locked". I called DTS and they said to talk to the old unit to release my DTS profile so I can unlock my account. Time sensitive because I leave for AT in less than two weeks and am unable to complete my DTS at this time. My S1, S3, and S4 have not answered phone calls or emails.

May I suggest you have the Commander and/or 1SG of the unit you're going to AT with to call your old unit Commander and/or 1SG to get this remedied.

Another likelihood (and most probable) is that you have been released by your old unit and are awaiting to be picked up by your new unit/BN.

Either way, contact your new 1SG/Commander (thru your Chain, of course).

When your profile is released, it is locked to you until another unit picks it up in their hierarchy.
For those who don't have multiple profiles, this is pretty much the only reason your profile gets locked.

Only a Defense Travel Administrator (DTA) would be able to complete this action. I replied to the soldier initiating this question with specific action to take. The traveler themselves can go to the DTS website & get phone numbers to both their current DTA & former unit's DTA and get the problem resolved in as little as 2 minutes - if the prior unit detached the DTS account; if the prior DTA did not detach the soldier's DTS account, even That can take 5 minutes (give or take in case of different time zones). I've done this myself! FYI, going through a Commander of 1ST could slow this process down unless - and this is a Big unless - they know Exactly who the unit's DTA is. If not... well that'll take a ton of phone calls And time.

As a retired Defense Travel Administrator (DTA) ONLY a person with this designation can take action on your problem. Call DTS again & ask them for the name & phone number of the DTA for your current unit. It would be good to get the DTA name & phone number for your Old unit, too. Once you have those names & phone numbers, call the phone number for your Old unit first & ask them if your DTS account has been "detached". Make sure they check the DTS system! (tactfully of course). If they did, then call the DTA for your New unit & tell them to transfer (the technical term is "receive") your DTS account into your current. I'm pretty sure you can talk to someone in the DTS office 24 hours a day.
