I looked up my local toll road authority this morning and saw a section of jobs being offered. I copied and now will paste what they are looking for. I noticed on RP posts asking questions about employment and posts about plac s hiring. I noticed the most recent posts only had about 7 or 8 responses. If you live in Harris County Texas and are looking for a job, contact them.

I wish places would post what military specialities/MOS's would be good fits for each of their positions.

If you were in a specialty MOS, that would be great for them to qualify what they are looking for, but I didn't have much luck after I got out, because no one was looking for a helicopter door gunner, or an 11Bravo. But, I did get hired by a company that didn't care what your MOS was. They loved hiring veterans. I ended up retiring from there. Of course that was in 1974. Thank you for your comment Carlos.

I met an Army veteran last week that talked about going back home to Houston. This is a great example how using RP allows veterans to help and support other veterans!

MAJ (Join to see), The government should go back to guarantying a job when they come back from deployment, if they're in the reserves. It's disgusting to hear about the vets having hard times finding a job.
