I graduated there from Motor-T ALC about 14mos ago. Yes there's some MOS specifics but for me it was basic mimitary.... show up right place, right time, right uniform and be ready to engage. A lot of our class was civilian taught with SGL oversight and was item discussion. Be prepared to open up and share your experiences in your field. But also own to listen to other's experiences, someone else may have a more experience in an aspect that you. We did vignette each morning, which was fun to start the day as an ice breaker, some got heated but that's what happens. We took exams on blackboard at the end of each section and had a writing assignment.
The best part was the knowledge base we had direct access to, i still get emails from the school 1SG with updates that effect the Trans Corps, i also got to me our Regimental CSM and listen to get talk. At the time Tradoc CSM Dailey, now CSA Dailey spoke to a bunch of us as well.....
I would offer one bit of advice, of you want to raise your hand and offer a disagreement, don't just say "just because," "I've don't like that," have a solution to offer to the problem or question presented.

Sorry I'm on my mobile and didn't catch a few auto correct errors in the talk to txt, but I think most of it came thru correct.

It's a blast. I did ALC and SLC at Fort Lee. I loved the base and the Area. Kings Dominion is only 40 minutes away, Richmond's not too far either..

Oh! And Adriana's Taqueria outside of the ALU gate has the best tacos on the planet! And That's saying something because I lived in California and visited Mexico!
