When I was living in Washington State I was robbed at knife point. Social Security Card,Debit Cards, Government Travel Card all stolen. Next thing I know they tried using my SSN and government travel card to buy stuff all attempts failed. However I did get a phone call saying I was being sued for taking out a loan for 400 dollars by a company I never heard of. Anyone else ever experienced this?

Yes, many times through my credit card company, but they usually track me and call me when I am making purchases out and about that they know I am not there. USAA has rocked since and saved me thousands, my daughter had her PIN changed, and 100% of her total life savings taken by a thief and USAA paid back the more than 25k stolen from her savings and checking accounts.
