No, but I did meet his son when he was Mayor of Stuttgart, Germany. Asked him what his dad was like. He did look a lot like his dad.

I bought it in soft cover, I think it would depend if your are collect classics or not.

No I have not read it. Rommel by all accounts was an excellent leader. I will have to check that out.

I haven't read it ...yet. he is an interesting person. Misunderstood by many, a favorite of Hitler but never a Nazionale and was part of Valkyrie. I look forward to reading it

The Valkyrie issues has always been questionable, was he, or wasn't he a member of it? Hard to believe that he would turn on the Hitler. But anything is possible.
