Has anyone ever read "Attacks" by some guy named Rommel?

I read this book years, ago and was impressed with his daring exploits. Much of what he did in WWII can be traced to his actions as front line leader in WWI. If you ever come across it, it is a very good read.

No, but I did meet his son when he was Mayor of Stuttgart, Germany. Asked him what his dad was like. He did look a lot like his dad.

No I have not read it. Rommel by all accounts was an excellent leader. I will have to check that out.

I haven't read it ...yet. he is an interesting person. Misunderstood by many, a favorite of Hitler but never a Nazionale and was part of Valkyrie. I look forward to reading it

The Valkyrie issues has always been questionable, was he, or wasn't he a member of it? Hard to believe that he would turn on the Hitler. But anything is possible.
