Has anyone used the requisition link to PCS?

A soldier gets fenced in when either they are on deployment orders, deployed,on a special assignment i.e recuriting, drill or when you are in a life cycle unit. It stops HRC from putting you on orders to go anywhere or to do anything but if ur thinking about reenlisting and getting duty station of choice then go ahead the fence wont stop that, I had Soldiers I know that reenlisted to go where ever they wanted to go and we are fenced in because we are deployed.

If you were on orders prior to the fence you could pcs. To get out a if a fenced unit is literally going to take a lot of work.

I've never seen that thing work and when people come in to ask me about the reqs they saw on ASK, the reqs are usually out of date

Easiest way out of anything is to contact the SORB and drop a packet.

I have historically never been able to get that thing to work for me either. I've also tried that crazy ACT when looking for spots they "may" be open, but both haven't worked for me yet. I wish you success though.

I just PCS’d using the requisition option on ako . You will not PCS until the fence is lifted . However HRC still cut my orders , but my CSM deferred my orders 4 times . So just choose a duty station and wait is my best advice. Good luck with what ever you choose.
