Have the women with combat jobs and have made it to the Ranger Regiment and Special Forces actually been fighting along side men, or have they been just for show?

IMHO as I read your question is you are a anti-female Soldier discriminator. My advice is stop comparing a Soldier's abilities and capabilities to their gender.

I learned this very quickly after I entered the Army. If I am in a situation where I jump into a foxhole and have to depend on the other person in that hole to keep me alive, I do no not care if they are male or female, Tall or short, fat or skinny, Africian American, hawaiian, mexican, or whatever. I size them up quickly and if necessary square them away as quickly and as best as possible so I might live to see the next day.

Since the combat exclusion law was overturned, one woman has graduated from the Special Forces Qualification Course (SFQC). She is a member of the Colorado Army National Guard's 5th Battalion, 19th Special Forces Group, and she graduated in 2020. She was last mentioned in the news at the end of 2020. Haven't heard anything about her since.

Sir many years ago I ran into a female major who was wearing an ADA Branch insignia on her BDU's. As I looked she smiled and realized why I had that look on my face she explained that she was in a very small group of women that was awarded that branch insignia for completing the training, she also said she never actually worked at that branch. From many of the posts on this thread I can see that some are confusing women serving in the Army in multiple MOS(s) in combat situations and doing a great job with Women assigned COMBAT MOS(s) and actually kicking in doors doing fire and maneuver etc. Depending on your source its between 601-680ish Soldiers less that 2% of Infantry slots. While observing an Infantry graduation down at Benning for my son I saw about a dozen female Soldiers marching(Limping) behind their company with about 3 Males on crutches. The fastest way to end 90% of the complaining on either side of the argument is to make it a 50-50 mix and hold them all to the standard ATP 3-21.8 (INFANTRY PLATOON AND SQUAD) no modifications no watering down etc. That will be a test that very few can challenge as biased. Until then all this bickering is just a distraction. When I went in the Infantry was treated as a place for all those who couldn't qualify for all those high speed MOS(s) but apparently some feel everyone is Infantry when you are defending yourself against an attacker.
