I’m curious. I haven’t seen anyone mention it though it would seem likely. It seems that the numbers being reported are all over the place and now being suspected of inflation. Thus, I’m not asking if you know of someone, even someone in your family who has it. That would skew the results of this question. And I’m not asking if you died of it. That would be ridiculous. Lastly, I’m not tagging this with the “Covid-19” topic. That seems to draw the ire of RP Admins...

I've managed to avoid it. My uncle and cousin had it a few months back and since recovered. My father was diagnosed this morning. Local reserve units at JBLM, WA have only reported 4 positives since March (that I'm aware of). I believe the numbers were high even before testing began.

I had a suspicion that I had it already and the antibody test confirmed in. I believe it went around our workplace back in January, due to the number of people who were sick back then and the lack of positives we've had since then (only 3 people have had it at work verified with positive tests).

No one in my family. I have been working and out and about in public ever since the shutdown started. Was back in the gym the day they re-opened. A co-worker recently tested positive and suffered from extreme fatigue with some coughing for about a week (late 50's and overweight).

I caught the Covid-19 virus. I was hospitalized for six weeks. I spent the first 3 days in ICU. Then I was put in a medically induced coma for two weeks and a ventilator and life support. I'm much better now. Still going through therapy.

I asked medical personnel how close did I come to dying, They said as close as you can get. I asked what kept me from dying? They said one thing and one thing only. My heart never stopped beating.

I have never had but knew a Vet and his mother that died of it through facebook. I also know another veteran through facebook it sounded like what caused his death. I also know another veteran through facebook now recovering from it. I also know a civilian that had it.
