Have you been to the American Veterans Disabled for Life Memorial in Washington, DC?

I have not and I think I have visited DC for the last time. This is a well deserved fitting memorial though. 

I have donated to fund this memorial for years, and am proud to see it complete, but I have not visited it yet. It seems a fitting, albeit delayed tribute to those who gave so much of themselves carrying out armed response on behalf of our nation.

Never knew they even had such a thing. From the time my situation started changing, the fear of embarrassing the ones around me has become to great.
I do enjoy the good days, although they are few, doing little things and making sure I am close to home. It's not that bad, could always be worse.
