Have you ever needed to learn and/or used a binary clock?

There are only two kinds of people in the world. Those that get binary, and those that don't.

I thought it goes: there are only 10 kinds of people: those that get binary, and those that don’t.

This one sat on my desk at client locations all the years that I was consulting. It was a great conversation starter. That and the bowl of treats that I kept there too

That's a very popular model. I've seen it in tutorials and online stores with plenty reviews.

Not a binary clock, but I have the Mars time app on my phone.
I am a tech guy so of course I have had several binary clocks over the years.

Why do you say "of course?" I've never seen a need for a binary clock. I can only imagine it would help devs and software engineers maintain knowledge.

If it's what I think it is a users binary code, zeros and ones to convey time so you would have to know how to convert zeros and ones in to normal. It's kind of like in the movie the Martian where they use hexadecimal in a circular fashion you have to be ableto convert

There are different types. The others have dots representing 1, 2, 4, and 8.

A binary clock is a clock that displays the time of day in a binary format. Originally, such clocks showed each decimal digit of sexagesimal time as a binary value, but presently binary clocks also exist which display hours, minutes, and seconds as binary numbers. Most binary clocks are digital, although analog varieties exist. True binary clocks also exist, which indicate the time by successively halving the day, instead of using hours,...
