Have you ever seen parents raising a child that you can just see in the Marines in a dozen years?

I have seen and heard countless comments as to HOW to raise a child, and lately, there are more than ever! Now, color me insensitive, but I am not going to tell my grandson he's not a HE until he CHOOSES to be a HE, nor am I going to call my great niece's newborn, a TODDLER_SELF, I'm going to call it a boy or a girl and knit accordingly! Political Correctness, I am sure, has its place, but in my view, its really hard to say where that place is. I raised two daughters who were bows, ribbons and lace all over the place, while still playing with Tonka toys and plastic M16s which they mostly used to crack each other on top of their adorable pig-tailed heads while screaming rude language.
I served with lots of Marines who weren't exactly heterosexual, but I didn't much care. I cared about the way they did their jobs, and honored their country and their Corps.
Being several dozen races myself, as well as Black, Hispanic, Norwegian and Cherokee, I was always listed as "OTHER" on government forms, and I was all right with that. I also felt at home eating Chorizo and tortillas, smoked herring, or Soul Food, without feeling as if I was not allowed to do so because I wasn't a part of that culture, because I am, genetically.
The problem I have, is that I feel we're raising a horde of emotional kids, incapable of actually having a debate on various sides of an issue without running to a safe space to pet puppies and cry over their feelings being hurt. This worries me, and then I run into parents who are raising children who can think for themselves, and react with logic, humor and intelligence, and I feel some hope.... am I the only seriously non-PC person out here who thinks we could stop ANTIFA by making cars with five speed transmissions and rotary phones?
