Have you heard of Bow Mag's .38 special or 357 mag bullet insert casing that screws into the arrow?

Simply place a 38 special or 357 magnum round into the casing, screw into arrow and bow hunting with a round.

I saw this on a buddy's facebook feed a few weeks ago. While the potential for a more lethal impact... that is about it. I cant imagine that this would be allowed during a "bow only"/archer season. I, as SSG Pride, am also curious as to the effects on the arrow shaft. Arrows can be expensive enough.

I agree Sir. I noticed that I only saw them shooting hogs, no deer. I don't think it would be legal in Georgia for deer hunting but wild hogs are fair game. My arrows are about $11.00 each. If I did try them, I'd have to buy some $4.00 arrows from Wally world Sir, lol

Kind of defeats the purpose of using an arrow for hunting I think but could prove useful in other areas.
