There are a number of efforts taking place to hire Veterans. Some, including the 100,000 Jobs Mission have greatly exceeded their numbers in hiring. The question I and many have is how many Vets stay with these companies beyond 6 months. Please take the survey and let us know if the company you joined had programs in place to support you and other Veterans.

SSG Izzy Abbass - as you and I have discussed in person a couple of times over the past year, the key point to this is your first option in the survey: are you still with the company after 6 months - or even a year. Retention is vitally important in this endeavor - something that hasn't always been a priority for companies participating.

Elizabeth Malkin, hard to say if the initiative is having the intended effects. Hopefully this is something the DOD or VA has on their radar to follow up on with a comprehensive study...

LTC Jason Strickland, unfortunately in a best case scenario that would mean that a comprehensive study would be completed and analysed in three years... Perhaps they could gain some insight from RP and what the community thinks and has experienced.
