So I saw my first military poser today at Wal-Mart of all places. Had Army ACUs, popped collar, what looked like a white turtleneck and Doc Marten's boots, patrol cap on indoors, no name tapes anywhere, Marine Corps Globe-and-Anchor on his pc, no unit patches and an American flag patch with no stars. I asked him what unit he was in, he responded with being an E-7 petty officer in the Navy.

Might I say BULLSHIT! An E7 in the Navy is a CHIEF Petty Officer, and a real Chief has no reason to wear a fubar uniform anywhere.

My first one picked up one of my new guys from the San Diego airport to bring him to the ship and stopped at 7/11 to grab a pack of smokes and there was a homeless guy in navy type threes (that’s the green camies we wear) guy asked for a smoke so I gave him one started talking about his “service” telling me he was on the uss Tripoli in the 8th fleet infantry...... there is no 8th fleet and the navy doesn’t have infantry.... really wanted to throat punch this guy when he kept going on alas I just got in my car laughed at this idiot and drove my guy back to the ship

It looks like he definitely needs a purple heart for dreaming up and for purchasing all of the decorations for a good laugh from the real veteran

Had one claim to be a Seal in the Navy. Asked him what his rate was, he responded with "Sgt Major" even tried to tell me he was an MP and 6 degree black belt....yeah right.

I would love to see this SF guy walk around on Fort Bragg and you tube it. It would be a classic form of entertainment.
