I explained Rallypoint to some key individuals at my local VA today. They were impressed and shocked they'd never heard of it before.

They know of it in Tucson and Phoenix. I'm sure they 'misplaced' all the papers I gave them about it by now. Their circular files are powerful.

What "papers" did you need to complete for them to start caring about the community?

The nice people at team RallyPoint sent me some posters and I got permission to put them in the community bulletin board for 30 days at a pop.

I have not. But come to think about it, I do talk to a lot of the vets at my VA facility so I'll have to mention it to them!

SGT (Join to see) Not at the VA, however when I see people in uniform, I often mention RP to them. I have yet to get a 'card' made w/ a brief description of RP to hand out

I want to get some Rallypoint gear. It would be sweet to have a Rallypoint gym shirt to go with my WWP cap.

I tell almost everyone I know about RP, I think most think it is another version of FB, but I tell them that even though it is social media, the people in the know attempt to keep it military relevant (dispite the many attempts of people who try to use it as a platform to push whatever agenda they are currently supporting)

I disagree. I don't try to push the issue with linux, my blog "Go Live Lively," Free Open Source Software. . . . and Linux.

Linux is an operation system, similar to windows and OS X. Go Live Lively is my blog. FOSS just means it's free and open sourced (ie. Chromium browser, Libre Office Suite, and linux).

I've spoken of it at every VA I've visited, I believe.

Anywhere we can get vets up to date is great. Again, nice job Jacqueem.
