Is it possible to get a waiver for 15T after being denied due to using an illicit testosterone booster 10 years ago?

Came back into the military as a 91s with hopes of becoming a 15t when my reenlistment window came up, got the slot but then lost it when I went to get my 3rd class medical. Had a charge for illicit substance from 10 years ago.(long story short my old team leader gave me T boost pills, I was young and didn’t know they were a no go, yes I was stupid) Tried to get help from the retention nco on how to go about asking for a waiver or memo. They were pretty vague on it and wrote me off. Is it even possible to appeal? It says in bold in substance or alcohol abuse history is not waiverable but idk the army always seems to always have a waiver or memo…
Aviation med said I could still try to get a waiver to become a pilot (had to get a current sudc review and an adhd exam from a diagnosis 20 years ago). I took 2 psych exams and one of them came back saying I still have adhd. So now I’m taking non stimulant medication to retake the exam.. my question is has anyone else been in a similar situation and had success? It’s been a 4 year uphill battle and I want to make sure I did absolutely everything in my power before hanging up the hat on it

Listen, you have more going on here than just the previous drug incident. It is highly unlikely that you will ever get a waiver to be a pilot. There are too many available Soldiers who did not face the same issue as you. While it may hurt to hear this, focus on what you have already been given and advance your life in areas that are available to you.

Amazing how many people get bit in the ass by youthful indiscretions . . .

It's only worse now that all data can be sorted indefinitely, connected universally, and accessed immediately. The pre internet generation got away with murder.
