If it isn't enough that we have a fake SGM running around trying to look the hero, here we have an honest-to-goodness Command Sergeant Major wearing a badge and a tab which he did not earn, and is paying dearly for his gross error in judgement, or lack thereof. This is just too astonishing...I think I need a drink or something.

I don't know how the military continues to be plagued by these instances of stolen valor, especially within senior leadership positions. I couldn't imagine walking around somewhere with an unauthorized badge or ribbon on my uniform. As service members I don't think it is very difficult to identify service members who are wearing something they shouldn't be. What are your thoughts on the verdict for this CSM? As well as your thoughts for the penalty of similar acts of stolen valor from his officer counterpart, LTC Green?
