The House on Monday approved a bill allowing the Veterans Affairs secretary to force senior executives to repay bonuses if the employees engaged in misconduct.
I am all for this bill to move forward through the Senate and become law. This is partially the reason we have such a budget crisis because we reward substandard performance with bonuses.

I'm with you on this, SGT Jim Z., and I'll bet most of RallyPoint is as well. The top dogs were rewarded for the lies and deceit of the lower level personnel. Wow. They all should be reprimanded (when caught doing or condoning what they've done) -- as a way to DISCOURAGE that behavior. Bonuses ENCOURAGE it. Good on Congress for taking this step.
